Why Wallet Balance Is Required

Before a hail can be requested, VI Hail checks that your wallet has enough funds to cover the estimated cost.

This ensures:

  • Hails can be completed without payment issues

  • Drivers are protected from unpaid trips

  • The platform remains cashless and reliable


How Authorization Works

When you request a hail:

  1. You enter your destination

  2. The app estimates the hail cost

  3. Your wallet balance is checked

  4. If sufficient, the hail request proceeds

  5. If insufficient, you’re prompted to add funds

No funds are deducted until the hail is completed.


What Happens if Your Balance Is Too Low

If your wallet balance is insufficient:

  • The hail request cannot be completed

  • You’ll be asked to add funds

  • You can retry booking after funding


Important Things to Know

  • Authorization is a balance check, not a charge

  • Wallet funds are deducted only after completion

  • Drivers do not handle payments

  • Cash is not accepted


Common Questions

Does authorization hold my money?
No. Funds are only deducted after the hail is completed.

Can I add funds and retry immediately?
Yes. Once funded, you can request a hail right away.

Will my balance change if the hail costs less?
Yes. Only the final fare is deducted.
