Why Payments May Be Declined
Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
A payment may be declined for reasons related to your bank, card issuer, or account settings.
Common Reasons for a Declined Payment
1. Insufficient Funds
Your bank or card may not have enough available balance to complete the transaction.
2. Card or Bank Restrictions
Some banks block:
Online transactions
App-based payments
International or offshore merchants
Contact your bank to confirm the payment is allowed.
3. Incorrect Payment Information
A declined payment can occur if:
Card number is entered incorrectly
Expiration date or security code is wrong
Billing address does not match bank records
4. Bank Security Checks
Banks may temporarily decline payments for security reasons, especially if:
This is your first time using the card
Multiple attempts were made in a short time
Trying again later often resolves this.
5. Unsupported Payment Method
Only payment methods shown in the Stripe portal are supported.
What to Do After a Decline
Double-check your payment details
Try a different card or payment method
Contact your bank to approve the transaction
Retry funding your wallet
