OTP Code Not Working

Having Trouble With Your OTP Code?

VI Hail uses a one-time passcode (OTP) sent by SMS to verify your account during login.

If your OTP code is not working, follow the steps below.


1. OTP Code Not Received

If you didn’t receive the OTP:

What to Check

  • Confirm your phone number is entered correctly

  • Make sure your phone has cell signal or data

  • Check that SMS messages are not blocked

  • Wait at least 30–60 seconds before requesting a new code


2. OTP Code Expired

OTP codes expire after a short time for security reasons.

What to Do

  • Request a new OTP

  • Enter the most recent code sent

  • Do not reuse old codes


3. Entering the Wrong Code

Make sure:

  • You enter the code exactly as received

  • No extra spaces are added

  • Only the latest OTP is used


4. Network or App Issues

Connectivity problems can interfere with verification.

What to Do

  • Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data

  • Close and reopen the app

  • Try again once connected


5. Too Many OTP Requests

Requesting too many OTPs in a short time may temporarily block new codes.

What to Do

  • Wait a few minutes

  • Try again after the cooldown period

✔ Correct phone number
✔ Strong signal or data connection
✔ Latest OTP code
✔ App restarted if needed
