After you request a hail in the VI Hail app, the system follows a clear process to match you with a nearby driver and complete your trip.
Understanding this process helps reduce confusion while waiting.
Step 1: Wallet Authorization
Before searching for a driver, VI Hail checks that your wallet has enough funds to cover the estimated cost of the hail.
If your wallet balance is sufficient, the hail request continues
If not, you’ll be prompted to add funds
No funds are deducted at this stage.
Step 2: Driver Search Begins
Once authorized:
Your hail request is sent to nearby available drivers
Drivers can review and accept your hail
During this time, the app may show a searching or pending status.
Step 3: Driver Accepts Your Hail
When a driver accepts your hail:
You’ll see the driver’s name and vehicle details
The driver’s live location appears in the app
The hail status updates to show the driver is on the way
Step 4: Driver En Route
The driver travels to your current location.
You can:
Track the driver in real time
Contact the driver through the app if needed
Step 5: Hail Begins
Once the driver arrives:
The hail starts
The status updates to in progress
Step 6: Hail Completed
After reaching your destination:
The hail is completed
The final fare is deducted from your wallet
Your receipt is available under Trips → Completed
If a Driver Is Not Found
If no driver accepts your hail:
The request may time out
You can retry after a short wait
Driver availability can change quickly
No charges are made if a hail is not accepted.

Why is my hail still searching?
Drivers may be busy or unavailable in your area at that moment.
Can I cancel while waiting?
Yes. You can cancel a hail before it starts.
Will I be charged if no driver accepts?
No. Wallet funds are only deducted after a completed hail.
