Location Services Not Working?

VI Hail uses your current location to match you with nearby drivers.
If location services are not working correctly, you may be unable to request a hail.


Common Signs of Location Issues

  • The app shows the wrong location

  • No drivers appear nearby

  • You can’t request a hail

  • The app keeps asking for location permission


Check Location Permissions

Make sure location access is enabled for VI Hail.

iPhone (Apple iOS)

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap Privacy & Security

  3. Tap Location Services

  4. Ensure Location Services is turned ON

  5. Scroll and select VI Hail

  6. Set location access to While Using the App

  7. Turn Precise Location ON


Android

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap Location

  3. Ensure Location is turned ON

  4. Tap Apps

  5. Select VI Hail

  6. Tap Permissions

  7. Set Location to Allow only while using the app or Allow all the time


Improve Location Accuracy

  • Enable GPS or high-accuracy location mode

  • Move to an open area if indoors

  • Avoid requesting a hail in areas with poor signal


Restart the App

Close and reopen the VI Hail app to refresh location data.
