Lost an Item During a Hail?

If you believe you left an item behind during a hail, act as soon as possible.
The sooner you report it, the better the chance of recovery.


What to Do First

Before submitting a report:

  • Double-check your surroundings

  • Review your Completed Trips to confirm the correct hail

  • Act quickly — items are easier to locate shortly after a hail


How to Report a Lost Item in the App

To report a lost item:

  1. Open the VI Hail app

  2. Tap Trips

  3. Select Completed

  4. Choose the hail where the item was lost

  5. Tap Support or Report an Issue

  6. Select Lost Item

  7. Provide details about the item

Include a clear description to help identify it.


Reporting Through the Support Portal

You may also submit a lost item report at:

https://support.vihail.com

Be sure to include:

  • Date and time of the hail

  • Description of the item

  • Any identifying details


Important Things to Know

  • VI Hail cannot guarantee recovery of lost items

  • Drivers are independent and may not immediately locate items

  • Do not contact drivers outside the app

  • VI Hail is not responsible for lost or forgotten items


What Happens After You Report

After submitting:

  • Support reviews the report

  • If the item is located, you may be contacted

  • Return coordination depends on availability
